06. Pay and Payslips

Last updated on 20/06/2023

You will receive an email about this however you can sign up for online payslips at http://hse.ie/eng/staff/

You are paid each fortnight (Thursday) directly to your bank account.

  • Each payslip contains a breakdown of the pay-period including gross salary, overtime paid, tax paid and deductions made.
  • If you are due overtime and it has not been paid, contact the PALS department immediately (5083) and state that you have not received the correct pay.
  • Unfortunately this will not be able to be rectified until the following pay-period and you will have to wait a further fortnight to receive your dues.
  • It is recommended that you keep your payslip.and the time sheets from the payslip period together and filed safely away.
  • Organisation is key to ensuring that you get paid on time and the right amount. It is wise to routinely compare your payslip and time sheet. Mistakes happen, and accounts will not voluntarily seek to re-dress any discrepancies unless they are highlighted to them.
  • Tip: Take a picture of every time sheet you are submitting on your phone and store safely. Alternatively, you can email your time sheets to nchdtimesheets@hse.ie and keep record this way.
